On many occasions it has been my privilege to visit the sites of the Reformation in Europe. Each time I have been challenged to recommit myself to .contend for the faith delivered to the saints..
Now you have the opportunity of of joining us as we relive the events that have shaped contempo- rary Protestantism in Europe and the United States. You will see Europe as it was and as it is today.
I have selected our itinerary so that we will see the most important Reformation sites and also significant sites of the Nazi era. In addition, we have included attendance at our mission confer- ence in Les Diablerets, Switzerland.
You will also have some free time to relax, shop and enjoy the beauty of this special part of Europe.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience The Reformation with Dr. Lutzer. He has a world wide ministry as a leading pastor, author, broadcaster and has led many Reformation tours. This very special tour presents opportunity to trace the development of the Reformation from Luther in Germany to Calvin in Geneva, Switzerland. Along the way we will visit some of Germany’s most historic sites to help us understand the culture of the day.

| September 13, Saturday Arrive Berlin |
Our German tour director and private coach will meet us on arrival in Berlin and transfer us to the Hotel Maritim ProArte, our home for the next two nights. In the evening, we gather for our welcome dinner and orientation meeting. Dr. Lutzer will take us on a short walk to introduce us to this great city. D

| September 14, Sunday Berlin |
|
This morning we become familiar with the vibrant city of Berlin with a five hour city tour including its major religious and historical sites. Your locla tour guide will show you sights such as the 1905 neo-Baroque Belin Cathedral, the bomb-damaged tower of Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, The Brandenbury Gate, the Reichstag, the "Unter den Linden" government distric, and remains of the Berlin Wall, in the afternoon visit Pergamon Museum of Berlin's "Museum Isalnd". Dr. Lutzer will discuss the role of Europe in prophecy.

| September 15, Monday Potsdam |
We will start our day with some German history as we drive to Potsdam and visit King Fredericks Sans-Souci Palace and Park as well as Cecilienhof, where Churchill signed the famous Potsdam agreement. The afternoon offers some free time on your own in Potsdam’s beautiful historic town center, before the group transfers to the Hotel Stadtpalais at Lutherstadt Wittenberg for two nights. BD

| September 16, Tuesday Wittenberg |
Explore the city where Martin Luther lived and taught for 36 years. The tour includes the City Church, where Luther preached the Gospel many times, and the Cas tle Church, where he posted his .95 Theses., thus sparking the Reformation. Learn more about Luther’s partners in the Reformation with a visit to the Cranach print shop. You will also visit the Luther House, which was Luther’s wedding gift from his prince in 1525 and now houses one of the world’s largest Reformation archives. Dinner this evening is planned at the Wittenberg Brewery restaurant. Dr.Lutzer will lecture at each site. BD

| September 17, Wednesday Erfurt |
|
This morning we transfer to Erfurt, where we will enjoy a city tour in the footsteps of Martin Luther. See the University district where Luther studied and visit St. Mary’s Cathedral, where he was ordained. We’ll tour the Augustinian Monastery (now inhabited by Protestant sisters) where Luther took his monastic vows and lived as a monk. Later, a scenic mountain drive takes us to Wartburg Castle. After his excommunication, Martin Luther was kidnapped by his prince and hid here for almost a year under the alias of .Junker Jorg.. Here, he made his translation of the New Testament. Later, a visit to the Bach House to experience what a typical home was like in the 18th century. Return to Erfurt for dinner and overnight at the Radisson SAS.

| September 18, Thursday Nuremberg |
Leave .Lutherland. this morning and drive south to Bavaria. We will visit Nuremberg and enjoy this charming city, known for Lebkuchen and pewter and also for the tragic part of Germany’s history. We will visit the ruins of Hitler’s Marschfeld, the great Nazi stadium. After lunch enjoy free time on your own be- fore we continue to Munich and our home for three nights at the NH Munich Airport. This morning Dr. Lutzer will guide us on a .Hitler Walk. with a brief lecture at the sight of the Putch and the Munich Agreement. Balance of the day is free for shopping and exploring on your own. You may wish to stop at lovely Karolinenplatz, one of the city’s finest quarters, or the Neue Pinatothek, Germany’s foremost gallery featuring the masterworks of Rembrandt, El Greco and Reubens. If your interests are technical, visit the Deutscmuseum or the BMW Museum. BD

Today we’ll visit Hitler’s famed Eagles’ Nest in the Bavarian Alps. It will be a delightful ride and on the way, Dr. Lutzer will talk about Hitler and WWII. We arrive there and have lunch then return to Munich for dinner and overnight. BD

After breakfast, transfer by bus to Col du Pillon for chairlift to the Glacier. Global Outreach Mission’s European Conference in the Eurotel begins with dinner this evening—inspiring messages, missionary reports, special music and extra-special fellowship. Afternoons will be free to roam the mountains. You may enjoy the facilities of the hotel, swim in its pool and, in town—enjoy afternoon tea with delicious Swiss pastry. BLD

|
After breakfast we will transfer by coach to the city of Geneva. We’ll visit the John Knox Chapel and-the Monument of the Reformation. Geneva is considered by many to be the .Protestant Rome,. due to its importance in John Calvin’s life and works. A lecture will be followed by a farewell dinner at the famous Edelweiss restaurant. Overnight in Geneva at the Manotel-Epsom. BD
