Let’s start with defining some terms:

Career: (Long-Term).

These are people who will serve more than one year – perhaps for a full term of four years or more – as needed. Whenever God has called you- He can use you.

Go Teams: (Short-Term).

This is the first step in practical ministry. Global Outreach missionaries welcome these assistants with open arms. The selected teams are involved with an actual ministry and for two or four weeks they encounter a unique experience which allows for a first hand exciting cross-cultural perspective on world missions. There is no generation limit- whether you are in college or retirement; there is a place for you on our Go Team.

Encounter : (One year to 36 months)

Encounters are for service experience in practical ministry, internship, with on the job training and a realistic view of international mission life, in all strategic fields of service, including medical, for periods of 12 to 36 months. In some situations a timetable can be customized to meet an individual’s needs.

The purpose of Global Health Services, a division of Global Outreach Mission, is to engage in genuinely, holistic ministry. We believe that God’s work, to which we are called, should be directed toward both the spiritual and the physical realms of people. Just as there is no compartmentalization between an individual’s spiritual, mental, social and physical aspects, so there is no dichotomy between the spiritual and physical ministries within the world view of Global Health Services. It follows that those whom God leads to join in this ministry would be totally committed to people’s spiritual needs as well as having a profound concern for mental, social and physical needs.

Being a Supporter

Not able to go yourself?  We still need you!  We need people to pray for teams, missionaries, pastors, radio programs and so much more. Missions does not work without prayer partners!  You are vital to the mission work around the world.

If you are able, and the Lord leads, we could also use your financial support.  You may choose to support an individual (Short-term or Long-term), Ministry, Project or Country.  From time to time, we also need donations of items such as bicycles, hygiene items etc.   We encourage you to be creative – hold yard sales, create t-shirts to sell, the sky is the limit…
