Dennis & Tammie Campbell

Dennis & Tammie Campbell

As our ministry grows in Sierra Leone, we realize that the southern provinces, specifically Mokanji, need the physical evidence of the Love of Christ. Community development was the best method to build relationships. This requires teamwork. Tammie and I set out to understand how we might lessen the loss of life of children in the area. In this region, healthy babies require clean drinking water, and when they grow up without mommy or daddy because of that lack, we bring comfort through clean water well-drilling, clinics, child rescue, adult literacy, early childhood education, and other community-based projects.

Treehouse Learning Center

Our process begins with a fresh deep-water well on shared community property. Many times we follow the well with an early learning center. We use this same building for evening adult literacy classes and Bible teaching.

Over several years of replicating this process and being joined by many short-term medical professionals, teachers, well drillers, and Christians who wish to share the Gospel, we now have a campus for teams to come and join in this wide ministry.

We seek others to join in this ministry full of various tasks, and opportunities to deliver clear evidence of the Gospel while empowering the people in the Community with Bible knowledge and life skills. Connect with us to become part of the ministry.

Venture Fund
The Treehouse Program began with forty girls who were either orphaned or had families who were unable or unwilling to provide for them. These girls come to the “Treehouse”, a building in the center of the village, where they receive food, clothing, education, compassion, support, and hear the message that Jesus loves them. Following the Ebola crisis, it quickly became apparent that there was a need for “Treehouses” in many more communities to provide the necessary support for the growing number of orphans in this disease-ravaged country. Using our existing school sites to keep costs to a minimum, we were able to reach out to orphans within the communities and provide them with food, clothing, and tuition. Counseling and after-school support were also offered. In this way, we were able to take our current working Treehouse Program and expand it to meet the needs of not just 40 at-risk children but 155 children. But we need your help. Thank you for prayerfully considering joining us.
