CNBH - A Light to Those in Darkness

CNBH - A Light to Those in Darkness

Canada’s National Bible Hour is the longest running Christian broadcast in North America. We have seen the impact of radio touch hearts and lives for almost a full century through this program. MissionGO has many radio programs that reach the jungles of West Africa, the wetlands of Kolkata in India, and seventeen French-speaking locations, (such as France, Guyana, Chad, Mali, and more). Most recently, our missionaries, Duckens and Francèlene Saint-Phart, launched a radio program that is discipling the nation of Haiti. If you have been following the news this year, there is no question of the unrest in Haiti.

What are we to make of the chaos? How does one reach the scared Haitian sitting at home desperately crying out for hope? We know the answer! Each heart needs to learn the truth of the Gospel and accept a Savior who transforms lives and offers peace despite the circumstances. The change of a society starts with changed hearts. Radio is the main source of communication in Haiti. More than ever, Haitians have access to radio—and people are increasingly searching for answers to spiritual questions. Our faithful missionaries have a Haitian Family Broadcast to provide answers to searching hearts!

The focus of the broadcast is the family, because the health of families affects the health of the church and the society. They provide solid theological teaching, with topics that cover salvation, how to live out your Christian faith, how to raise children, how to cultivate integrity in the workplace, how to create a lasting impact in our children’s lives, how to treat one another at home, how to heal from child abuse, and how to shepherd the family, etc.

We are asking for your help in providing this Haitian Radio Ministry with a furnished studio to share the Gospel and make disciples in Haiti. The Haitian Radio Broadcast started when the Saint-Pharts were in North America in Seminary; they recorded from their closet  After graduation and upon their arrival back home to Haiti in August 2021, they are starting over! The laptop and USB microphone no longer produce quality work—and the Haitian people are thirsting for more doctrinally sound broadcasts, begging them to continue! They need a laptop, reading tablet, acoustic padding for the walls, headphones, microphones, monitors, an AC, a few pieces of furniture for the studio, and tech accessories. The total for the set-up is $3,200, not including customs fees. Would you partner with us in equipping the Haitian Radio Broadcast so the Saint-Pharts can continue to share the True Light to those in darkness? They serve a culture filled with turmoil, yet they have the answer to every longing heart, Jesus Christ! This Christmas,  please prayerfully consider what you can give today!
