Description:  Hope House is one of the projects of Hope Alive Foundation which seeks to improve the quality of life for Hill tribe children who are living in the cycle of poverty, are without access to a good education, and are at-risk of sex-trafficking and/or child labor.
Hope House provides a home for children of primary-school age who have limited or no support for their education. They work to empower lives by giving children the opportunity to have a good education and to hear of God's good plan for their lives and their future.

Nature of Work for Short-Term Volunteers could include being involved with counseling services, health services, tutoring, training staff or kids in a variety of skills (carpentry, electrical, cooking, computers, housekeeping, leadership training, music, sports, dance, etc.), upkeep of the home, assisting the staff and house parents…
Other than the work in the home (Hope House), Hope Alive Foundation can also arrange for school and/or village visitation and outreaches where short term individuals or teams will be able to connect and experience life with the local people. Are you called to serve with HOPE ALIVE Ministries in Chiang Mai to serve the physical and spiritual needs of children and youth?

Additional Notes:

All team members should be prepared to serve through acts of service when opportunities arise. Previous experience with children is useful.  Skills in counselling, education, construction, painting, art or drama would be great but are not required.
