God's Word for the Dadjo of Chad, Africa 02005-010

Art and Denice Aviles and their children, through Global Outreach Mission, are actively engaged in Bible translation for the Dadjo people in Chad, Africa. They have been at this work for many years and have completed some books of the Bible, have other books undergoing consultant checking, and still others that are just beginning to be translated. Theirs is meaningful and valuable work that produces tangible results! Imagine the Dadjo being able to read of God's great love for them in their own language. Picture the delight on the faces of those who understand for the first time that their lives matter to a loving, caring Savior!

We invite you to consider giving a financial gift to this ministry to ensure that God's Word will provide a solid foundation for mission efforts in Chad. We want the Dadjo to read and hear about God's plan of salvation!

As you consider what role God might have you play, please consider sharing this need with others you know who are passionate about missions, Bible translation and reaching lost people groups. Also, as you are led, please keep Art, Denice and their family in your prayers.

Pray for:

  • God to provide increased monthly giving to this ministry.
  • Finances to be provided for Art's next trip to Chad in October.
  • Health and safety for the translation team in the U.S. and Chad.
  • The books of Genesis and James to be distributed successfully to the Dadjo.
  • The book of Luke to move on to the printing stage.
  • Wisdom in translating the books of Galatians and Colossians.

Our main missionary vision is to see people come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior, thereby bringing glory to God. Our hope is that this is accomplished through the ministry of Bible translation among the Dadjo people of Chad, Africa and through the relationships that God gives us here in the United States. Our ultimate desire for our work in Chad is to make God's Word known to the Dadjo people in a language that speaks to their heart. We firmly believe that God's Word is the foundation to any missionary/evangelism endeavor.
