This missionary is currently living in a two-bedroom storage building with his wife and seven children. The hot equatorial sun blazes during the day, which turns the structure into an oven and fails to provide relief or rest for the family. His ability to offer hospitality and fulfill his ministry is hindered. In addition, the situation has taken a turn for the worse as the landlord of our national missionary is trying to take advantage of his connection with North America by demanding exorbitant conditions and rent. This has put our beloved missionary and his family at risk of being displaced from their home, jeopardizing their ability to continue their vital work in the community.
We must unite as a community and support this dedicated individual, who has been a beacon of hope and support for many in need. We cannot stand idly by while he faces such challenges in his mission to bring comfort and care to the marginalized and afflicted in the Congo.
Our field missionary has begun the work of building a new house and enclosing his property but needs an additional $5,000 USD to bring the project to completion. The rainy season is quickly approaching, making this need even more urgent.
