Dr. Bill Killewald was born and raised in Western New York. He received his BS and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. After working as an associate veterinarian, he founded the Killewald Small Animal Hospital in Amherst, New York in 1980 and continued his veterinary medical practice until retirement in 2013.
Bill and his wife Peggy have participated in many short-term medical trips to the Dominican Republic beginning in 2008. They have also gone on short-term veterinary medical mission trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Bill and Peggy have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren. They live in Western New York and attend The Chapel at Crosspoint in Getzville.
