Daniel's nickname is Danico. He has seven brothers and five sisters! Danico lives with his mother as his father is not a part of his life. However, his grandfather, who is a local sawyer, helps to provide for him and encourages him in his schoolwork. Although the family considers themselves to be Christian, they rarely attend church.

Danico is very bright and is an old soul. He is very inquisitive, and although he enjoys playing outside at recess, he would rather be working on a puzzle or reading a book. He is in the top reading group and is always very attentive. He loves to play soccer, color, and sing. Danico is quick to summarize our bible stories each morning. He is a joy to have in class!
