02 Moses Akaria
Moses (goes by M.O.) lives with both his mom and dad. He has one older brother and one older sister. His father is a Christian and attends church fairly regularly, while his mom is a Muslim. Moses and his siblings attend Sunday School and church weekly. His father had a job at the mines until fairly recently.
Moses is the smallest boy in our class and also the quietest! However, he seems to be soaking up everything! Despite him seeming disengaged, he can usually come up with the correct answer. When he started school, his grip strength was so weak that he was unable to hold his pencil or scissors. I was surprised when he told me that at home he likes to write and that the best thing about FCA is that he gets to color and write! He can now write all his letters rather neatly and is fairly proficient at coloring and cutting. He is a real sweetheart – and gives his best every day!
