My primary post in serving the Lord in the Republic of Congo is to offer physical and spiritual care to the people who are affected by Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Presently, I am working with Sarah Speer, a long-term missionary nurse in Impfondo. We have a leprosy center called the Kimia (Hope) Center. I am the Director of the Center and its outreach program.
The Aka Pygmies who live deep in the tropical rainforest and in little villages along its waterways are the people most affected by leprosy and other NTDs. Many of them do not know Jesus Christ. This gives me and my wife a deep desire to continue to work with Rev. Richard Bokodi and the Komba churches (established by Pastor Paul Ohlin in the 1990s). These churches are struggling and need supervision to regain their evangelistic spirit. We cherish your prayers and support for this work. God bless you.
