Jesse Mitchell's Junior School appeal

Jesse Mitchell's Junior School appeal

I have been offered an amazing opportunity for a matching grant. This grant can help to fulfill one of my lifelong dreams. I’m asking you to join me in making this dream a reality.

James 2:14-17 says, “What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself is not enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.”

MissionGO, with whom I serve, believes education is a key part of creating building blocks in the children's lives, both present and future. In Sierra Leone, we started a girls' secondary school due to the quality of education in this area.  Since the opening of the school, it very quickly became apparent to the mission that more needed to be done in the area of education for children at an earlier age.  As partners with this local community, the mission really wants to look for new ways to help equip the children of this area for a better future. We believe that providing a quality, Christian-based education is a big step in the right direction.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude as an anonymous donor who has been following me on social media and has pledged to match up to $5,000 to the ministry of my choice. I believe that this could go best toward the school project. The land and leadership are already present, but funds are needed for construction, curriculum, and staffing. This is the perfect opportunity to move forward with this ministry.

Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us to start this school?
