Dear family and friends,
Last year, we shared our dream of building a house in the Dominican Republic, which will allow Hope and Joy Ministry to receive and host small mission teams and ministry partners, as well as allow our ministry to grow in new ways.
We are so grateful for those who have donated towards this dream. God has moved in a mighty way, and much progress has been made on the house! With the money we have already raised, the whole house has been built! We are now in the process of finishing the inside. We are so excited to inform you that we have MOVED into the first floor of the house.
The first floor is 90% finished inside and the second floor is mostly unfinished, but we decided it was finished enough to move in, and in October we did just that. This house is such a blessing. Thank you so much to everyone who prayed for and donated to our Ramos House fund.
We've already hosted our first guests and when the house is completely finished, we will be able to host the small teams that come to visit the ministry in our home. We are so encouraged!
Still to be done on the first floor is the closet, the gate, and the water heater. On the second floor; half of it is tiled, but other than that, it is mostly unfinished.
Our current goal to complete the whole house is $50,000.
Every donation is a blessing and adds up. We are in awe of how far we have come in the last year and are so excited to already be living in the house.
