Karen and Moses Lubbers-Odel are serving in Gulu, Uganda.  Since 2020, they have felt called to build a home/ministry centre amongst the Acholi people. In 2022, construction started on an ¾ acre piece of land that they acquired. The neighbourhood has a lot of needs, as there is a lot of spiritual darkness - poverty, drunkenness, witchcraft/shrines, teenage pregnancy, boredom, and no church within walking distance. A borehole/well has been drilled and the neighbours have already been accessing water since April 2022! 

Moses and Karen feel that their home will be a light in the community. A three-car open garage has been built, where the Odel's can use the space for training, hosting medical teams from North America, Bible study groups, Christian movie nights, worship events, or even simple motor vehicle mechanics.  They also dream of hosting people in their home - with church meetings, visiting missionaries, baking/cooking lessons, prayer times, and more. 

Their home is coming along nicely but needs a push to the finish line.  Here are the estimated costs to finish their home project. You can give generally, or pick an area of need and fulfill it.  Thank you for supporting them in this partnership.
