Junisa (goes by Jesse) became known to our missionaries, as he would accompany his mother when she came to the secondary school to sell lunch to the girls. He fell in love with Mr. Bill and would always seek him out to greet him. His older sister is a 9^th grader at our Secondary School. She dotes on him, making sure he is well taken care of. Junisa is very quiet and small for his age. But he loves to receive recognition for his work. His teacher would often say, “Wow!” after looking at his paper, and he would get such a kick out of that, repeating, “Wow! Wow!” He is a master at learning the weekly Bible verses and is quick to share them with his neighbors in the village.

Junisa says that he loves to play at home, but he only gravitates to older youth or adults. Even during recess, he doesn’t play with the other children but seeks out a teacher with whom to play. It is apparent that Junisa truly enjoys learning and he tries his best at every task put before him.
