Mamakor’s parents do not live in Mokanji. She has two younger sisters. She has never met her father, and she sees her mother only once or twice a year. She lives with her maternal grandmother who is a believer. Her paternal grandfather is a pastor in the next village and attends bi-weekly discipleship classes here in Mokanji. He was instrumental in advocating for her acceptance to FCA.

Mamakor loves to color and is a fast writer. She has been quick to learn how to write her letters. She struggles with learning her letter sounds and numbers as her attention seems to often drift to other places. Recess is her favorite time at school, and she seems to take charge of the activities in progress. Her favorite color is purple, and she loves to eat macaroni.
