Jonathan was found abandoned in a village and was brought into our care through concerned acquaintances who did not want him to be left unprotected. With no known parents and no stable background, the children’s home became his place of belonging. 

Recently, Jonathan faced a serious medical crisis. He suddenly developed shortness of breath and severe swelling followed by discoloration in his feet and was rushed to the hospital. After extensive testing, doctors discovered fluid in his lungs and signs of cardiac failure. His blood pressure was dangerously high during his hospital stay.  

Following multiple days of treatment and observation, doctors determined that his heart is currently functioning at only 25%. 

He was discharged with strict medical instructions to avoid physical strain and must continue to remain on long-term medication to help his heart function properly. Since returning into our care, Jonathan has been under special care and close supervision. Emergency medications are kept available, and staff carefully monitoring his daily routine. 

Although he can no longer participate in sports or physically demanding games, Jonathan has accepted this difficult limitation with remarkable maturity unlike others for his age. The other children are aware of his condition and treat him with respect and affection; He is never made to feel different. 

Today, Jonathan continues his studies in 6th grade and remains cheerful and determined. His life requires ongoing medical attention, stability, and preparedness for emergencies.
