Swathi’s childhood was deeply shaken during the COVID pandemic when she lost both her parents. In a short span of time, the security of family, home, and future disappeared. With no immediate guardian able to care for her, government authorities intervened and ensured she was admitted into our children’s home for protection and support.
She arrived carrying grief that no child should have to bear. The dreams she once held seemed uncertain, and her stability was broken. Yet Swathi did not allow loss to define her spirit.
Over time, with counseling, structured care, and Christ-centered guidance, she began adjusting to her new environment. Now in 9th grade, she attends school regularly and is progressing steadily in her studies. She has become an active part of the choir, participating wholeheartedly in praise and worship. She also enjoys sports, where she builds friendships and confidence.
Swathi is known for her warm smile — a quiet reflection of strength and resilience. The mentorship, education, regular meals, and spiritual encouragement has helped her rebuild what was shaken.
Her story is not one of defeat, but of determination.
Would you consider partnering with Swathi as she continues moving forward with courage and determination?
