1 in 5 Children in Sierra Leone Die Before Their 5th Birthday

1 in 5 Children in Sierra Leone Die Before Their 5th Birthday
Every minute that goes by, more children in Sierra Leone are at risk—of disease,
starvation, violence related to poverty—things most of us are fortunate enough to never
experience. Many of these children are orphans who lost their parents to the mass Ebola
epidemic that swept the county for two years. They’re lost, afraid and need someone to
care for them.

At MissionGO, we’re working to help these children by providing the
resources they need to survive and giving them a solid education that will strengthen
their relationship with the Lord. As Proverbs 18:15 says, “The heart of the discerning
acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.” By addressing their urgent needs and introducing them to the teachings of Christ, we’re helping them to rise above their circumstances. But we can’t do it without you.

We thank you for your previous donation to MissionGO, and we ask that
you consider supporting us once again in our urgent mission to help the children of Sierra
Leone. It’s one of the poorest and least-developed countries in the world and in the most
need of your help.
