Pastor in Marseille France

We are looking for a qualified Pastor to lead a church in Marseille France. This church is a community of English-speaking Christians in Marseille and the surrounding area who share a common desire for fellowship and worship in English. The community is made up of International English-speaking Expatriates, In-country bilingual local French citizens and Immigrants/Migrants/Asylum-seekers.

TITLE:  Outreach Pastor

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Initiate and co-coordinating outreach to the international community of Marseille, with a special emphasis on the younger generation of English-speakers in the Marseille area, including students and families.
  • Assist the Senior Pastor with pastoral care and worship, including worship music and preaching.
  • Network with individuals and families in the Marseille region and develop evangelistic opportunities such as Bible studies, one-to-one ministry and outreach events.
  • Assist the Pastor of ICCM in identifying and training and discipling members of the congregation who can take responsibility in this work in the future.

ACCOUNTABILITY: 
To the ICCM Elders (collectively) for spiritual matters and the ICCM Council for all other matters  (however with sensitivity to the Senior Pastor to accomplish the mission of ICCM.)

INITIAL TIME COMMITMENT:
Two years

SUPPORT:
This post requires raising own support and being sent by a local congregation or ministry Some support may be provided by the church.

HELPFUL:
Ability to speak French.
Ability to manage social media and updates to web site.
