The name Fig Tree is inspired by the parable in Luke 13:3-9. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are the gardeners responsible for the fig trees, watering and fertilizing the soil and pruning the branches to bring them to fruitfulness.

Our aim is:

  • To provide encouragement, training, and upgrading of Care Takers in the Caribbean to be better counsellors and life coaches through courses, workshops and conferences based on biblical doctrines and geared towards helping the Care Taker get a better understanding on how to help hurting persons they minister to.

  • To encourage international interns to partner with us as part of the program to facilitate, mentor, teach, and do research.

Our current project is to translate training material from English into Papiamentu and to produce Video Training Courses in order to reach a wider audience with messages of HOPE!

Please prayerfully consider partnering with us!

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
