Our current vehicle has been a blessing to us since we bought it (secondhand) 9 years ago. We have had very few maintenance issues, which is rare due to our poor road conditions. In Uganda, emergency response services face many challenges. Many times, our car has been used to transport neighbors and even strangers to clinics/ healthcare facilities/ hospitals at all hours of the day or night in unsafe situations. Our car has carried neighbors who were too ill or fragile to get to the hospital on foot or by motorcycle. Our vehicle even became a hearse to transport our deceased neighbor to the cemetery. This vehicle has seen it all, but over the last year, it has become more of a burden—as soon as one issue is repaired, another turns up.

Transportation is a blessing to us and many around us. Our vehicle has been a vital tool to our ministry. It provides access to places we would otherwise struggle to reach and helps those in need when the systems lack emergency care. There was no road to our home until our repeated journeys wore one into the landscape—and with each rain the erosion changes the path! The roads are rough, and we need a durable vehicle with high ground clearance and the ability to handle rough terrain.

The time has come to replace our car. Would you consider donating to our Vehicle Fund?

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
