Kimia Center Land Purchase

We have been using the Trade School premises on loan for our church services and to house our overflow patients and their families. NOW the school needs its property back (i.e. 8 classrooms)! Therefore, we must vacate the premises as soon as possible.

We still have an opportunity to purchase the adjacent land around the Kimia Center. A few years ago we were able to raise the funds to purchase about HALF of the lots that were available for purchase. This has been an amazing blessing to the Kimia Center, as we’ve expanded our programs and secured our land for current and future use. We are seeking to complete the purchase of the lots that will allow us an opportunity to build in the future.

With the purchase of the 13 lots (20 meters by 25 meters each) for $26,000 (USD), we will be able to expand our facilities to continue our essential treatment of leprosy to the vulnerable sector of the population (i.e. the AKA Pygmies). This property is adjacent to our garden plot and our Kimia Center wall, and we have dreamt of owning it for many years now. As we need to move out of the Trade School premises, the timing is right to prayerfully seek this need being met.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
