For the past 35 years, we have been living and working out of Landour, a suburb of the hill town of Mussoorie, at an altitude of 7,500 feet. Mussoorie lies about 300 Km NE of Delhi. Our home, Ellengowan, sits on the ridge from where we can see the Himalayan range on the north and the state's capital city, Dehradun, on the south. Mussoorie is home to a mix of people and lies in the Hindu heartland, in that it is surrounded by several important Hindu pilgrimage sites. Mussoorie is also home to the first Tibetan settlement. The town hosts many reputed boarding schools, including the 165-year-old MK, Woodstock School where Tsering works. Simultaneously, she also helps with our hospitality ministry. Tony is involved in counseling and personal witness on the hillside.

We run a guest facility that caters to expatriate language school students, Christian workers, and guests, as well as a church-planting ministry in the two NE states of Manipur and Nagaland. Our Manipur staff also has an outreach in Nepal and the bordering area of Myanmar. The ministry in Nagaland incorporates a weekly prison ministry and among the working women’s hostel and orphanage. We have two married daughters. The older one, Tanya, and her husband, Mark, live in the cheese town of Gouda in the Netherlands. They have one daughter, Sienna. Tina and Matt live in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
