Their Calling and Journey

Jacob and Sharon Selvaraj have been serving in India since 2011, answering God’s call to plant churches and train leaders in rural districts and tribal communities. They believe that every village deserves a vibrant faith community and locally equipped leaders. Their ongoing commitment has ignited spiritual renewal across dozens of remote regions.

Ministries and Outreach

  • Church planting and leadership training in tribal and rural areas
  • Safe shelter and protection for at-risk women
  • Educational programs and scholarships for children
  • Ministering to blind individuals with practical support and counseling
  • Listening to people’s pain and showering them with God’s love

Strengthening Local Pastors

They collaborate with over 300 local pastors who have never attended formal Bible college. Through regular Bible studies and pastors’ fellowships, these leaders gain Biblical training, mutual encouragement, and practical resources to shepherd their congregations well.

The Heart of the Team

The ministry is sustained by 21 staff members who have faithfully served for 40 to 45 years. Their loyalty, wisdom, and passion form the backbone of the team. Jacob and Sharon’s three children—Adriella, Kezia, and Caleb—carry forward a legacy of faith that spans generations.

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
