Rebecca is an only child and the daughter of the former head nurse at our hospital in Mokanji. He has been assigned to another hospital, but Rebecca remained in Mokanji with a single lady who works with our Treehouse Program. She calls her “Auntie” and seems very well adjusted. (It is very common here for children to be passed to different homes depending on the needs of the child or the needs of the adult.) Her father is a Muslim, but she currently lives with a committed Christian and attends church regularly.

Rebecca is very bright and she learns quickly.  She is very respectful and gets along well with her classmates. Rebecca loves to sing and learns our classroom songs quickly. She is very outgoing and energetic. She enjoys playing with dolls and her favorite thing about FCA is the daily snacks! Rebecca is very quick to answer doctrinal questions about the Bible, God, and Jesus.
