Fathima's father was abusive towards her mother, who eventually left, abandoning the child. Government authorities learned of her situation and admitted her to the children's home.

After a year of staying in the children's home, her father returned and requests the Government to reinstae custody. He was approved and Fathima was sent with her father. One month later we receive a 5 second call to the children's home informing us that Fathima was not safe. We informed the District Child Welfare, who immediately took action and rescued the child, brought her back to the children's home, where she is not safe and happy.
