For the last seven years, we have been a missionary family helping the local church in the city of Nice, France. Our mission is to support local churches and to share Christ’s love in our community, using our creative and spiritual gifts. The south of France presents many challenges for the Gospel, including skepticism towards religion, few mature leaders, relational isolation, and few conversions, just to name a few.

Currently, Jeff is teaching the Emotionally Healthy Relationships course at a local church, in which he is focused on helping people learn to abide in Christ and develop different relational skills so that they can love their neighbors better. He is also serving with our church’s different Third-Presence initiatives, such as serving at the coffee shop Atelier Alfred and running an art outreach called Atelier Liberté. All of these efforts are intended to soften skepticism towards the church by creating trust in order to compassionately shepherd and share God’s love to those in our community.  

Alex spends most of her time raising our two children, Anna (Grade 2) and Simon (pre-school), at home. She is also involved in the children’s ministry at our church.
