PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT Sierra Leone

Overview

To glorify God through serving as a missionary physician assistant at the Mokanji Medical Clinic, a Christian clinic in Mokanji, Sierra Leone.  MissionGO has been ministering through the provision of modular pastoral training, clean water well drilling, and a girl’s mentoring program.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program with a Master’s Degree
  • Experience in the PA role preferred
  • Comfortable working in a resource-limited and sometimes austere environment

Responsibilities

The clinic aims to offer to heal to the whole person, integrating physical, social, and spiritual treatment as needed. As a result, the Mokanji Medical Clinic is having a positive impact on the mortality and morbidity of the region through the medical and chaplaincy services provided.  Our greatest need is for a physician assistant, doctor, or nurse practitioner to elevate this exciting medical ministry to the next level.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
