CETHEM Bible College - Haiti

Send a Note Start a Campaign

$1,500/month ($18,000/year) keeps the Bible School operational so that it continues to train and equip pastors/church leaders with quality Biblical training to impact their churches and communities. for the glory of God. Most rural pastors in Haiti have no theological training which results in false teachings and syncretism. With your support, we hope to reverse that trend.

The Center of Theological Education in Miragoâne (CETHEM) is training and equipping pastors and church leaders for the work of the ministry to the glory of God.

In rural Haiti, most pastors receive no Biblical training. This lack of education and resources results in widespread false doctrines and syncretism. Jean and Jean Marie started CETHEM Bible College to reverse this trend. The mission of CETHEM Bible College is to train & equip pastors and church leaders to impact their churches and communities for the glory of God.

Only 10% of pastors in developing countries receive any Biblical education (The Changing Face of World Missions). Even so, men and women feel called to share the message of Christ with the people in their communities. They sacrifice money, security, and, at times, their family’s approval to receive a Biblical education.

Because of CETHEM’s sponsors and ministry partners, we are able to provide our students with quality Biblical training they need to be effective ministers of the Gospel, as well as ease the financial burden of the students to make attendance possible. Our hope is that all pulpits in Haiti will be filled with trained and equipped ministers preaching the uncompromising truth of the Gospel.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
