His Secret Place, a Ministry to Missionaries (M2M), is an international retreat to equip, encourage, empower, and refresh missionaries from around the world in order to help them remain in their fields. During the retreat, our staff share some effective mission field anti-attrition skills so missionaries can be better equipped when they return to their mission work. It is a time and occasion whereby God's servants, who may be feeling "burnout" or discouragement, can find recovery and strengthening in Christ's rest (Matthew 11:28-29).

Since its inception in September of 2009, this annual retreat takes place in late August or early September at Newfoundland's International Heritage Site, Gros Morne National Park. Participants are treated with Newfoundland's legendary hospitality and have the opportunity to partake in relaxing activities and services. M2M is open to all Christian missionaries, and volunteer staff are available to assist the missionaries with reflection and spiritual health if desired.

Missionaries attending M2M rest in beautiful hotel accommodations and enjoy revitalizing personal care services. Guests are treated to a variety of sensational outdoor activities such as sea kayaking, boating, and hiking. They will also experience the gentle encouragement of our staff as they reflect and enhance their spiritual well-being. This retreat - including all accommodations, services, and activities – we offer free of charge. Guests are responsible only for their transportation costs.

Ministry to Missionaries is a powerful celebration of missionaries and their work advancing God's Kingdom.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
