Ultrasound and accessories

God has been moving in incredible ways. Recently, He opened the door for us to step into the management of the Sion Maternity Clinic in the San Andres area, as the directors pioneer a new work elsewhere. Our team serves in a remote valley community surrounded by isolated mountain villages—places often reachable only on foot.

We are currently raising funds for a portable ultrasound machine that can stay at this clinic and also travel with us into those mountain homes where no vehicle can go. Every woman who receives an ultrasound not only receives essential medical care, but also an experience of being truly seen and safe. Many of our patients share how deeply this impacts them.

Offering practical medical care in this way builds trust, opens the door to meaningful relationships, and creates space for deeper spiritual growth. Your help in purchasing this tool will allow us to serve women and families with excellence—both physically and spiritually.

We are Katie Riley de Cabrera and Daniel Cabrera, serving women and families in the rural mountains of Quiché, Guatemala through Sion Maternity and Nutrition. Together, we manage the Sion branch in San Andrés Sajcabajá, offering care to women from very remote villages—whether during clinic appointments when they come to town for market or through home visits to their difficult‑to‑reach mountain homes.

Our shared desire is that every woman feels safe, seen, and valued as she receives compassionate medical care. By building meaningful, long‑term relationships, we pray that doors will open to share the hope of the gospel.

Daniel is from the central valley town, and his knowledge of the local Mayan Language, K’iche, along with his work coordinating and empowering teachers in the same remote villages our patients come from, allows us better access and trust in these often closed villages.

Katie’s background includes years of service with Hope for Home Ministries, providing medical care, nutritional consulting, and health and safety education for vulnerable children with special needs. While our primary work now centers on prenatal care, nutrition, and village outreach, we continue to love and support this community where Katie previously served, professionally, and Emotionally.

Thank you for prayerfully considering partnering with us in this ministry.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
