The Onboarding Process
Welcome to MissionGO!
- Each new missionary candidate will be assigned a member service representative. They will be your primary contact person.
- Email & Microsoft Account Setup $
- Sign up for Google Classroom
- Sign the missionary handbook
- Complete your ministry plan
- Write a description of your ministry, and provide a picture for the website
- Create and upload a list of contacts
- Create your first newsletter
- Create magnets or prayer cards
- Fill in / review budget plan
- Meet with the CFO
- Finalize and approve budget
Google Classroom
You will join the onboarding google classroom. It has some important videos that introduce you to MissionGO.
Missionary Candidate Orientation and Training
You will need to attend training. The next one is May 31 - June 5. It is a one week event in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. The cost $1425 CAD, or $1000 USD.
Afterwards there are ongoing monthly Zoom "huddles".
- You will need to raise prayer and financial support for your ministry
- Continue regular newsletters, updates on social media, thank you letters, etc.
- Complete Monthly Accountability Reports
- Notify home office of life or ministry changes and travel updates
- You may be required to fulfil conditional requirements like Bible training or language school
- You are fully funded and ready to go to the field
- We are praying for you and are here to assist when needed
- Continued communication with home office, donors, and supporters
- Serving in the ministry Christ has called you to
