Hugo and Katie Pineda Begbie

Send a Note Start a Campaign

Katie serves with World Orphans in Guatemala. They partner US churches with Guatemala churches that holistically care for families that are caring for vulnerable children. The program's goal is to equip, inspire and mobilize the local church to build relationships with at-risk families within their communities. Katie serves as a medical social worker to connect these families with the medical care that they need. Hugo serves as the young adult ministry director and as a pastoral resident for their local church, Iglesia Reforma. Hugo is also starting an art ministry called Corazón Creativo, to empower artists and other people to see the Gospel through a creative lens.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
