Dominican Republic - Ministerio Esperanza y Gozo

In Santiago, Dominican Republic, MissionGO missionaries Eddy and Carrie Ramos have begun the “Ministerio Esperanza y Gozo” (Hope & Joy) children’s ministry.  For at least 150 kids in their neighborhood, the ministry has become a safe place for kids to hang out, learn about Jesus and receive help for various tangible needs. MissionGO teams have the opportunity to partner with the Ramos family to provide food, Bible education and kids activities in this incredible community. Regardless of your gifts, the Lord will use them in the Dominican Republic.

The cost is about $1,200 USD PLUS the cost of airfare. This includes accommodations, meals, in-country transportation, travel insurance, plus a donation to the ministry project.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
