Guatemala Trip - Summer 2026

Trip Location: Guatemala City and Puerto Barrios, Guatemala

Trip Dates: July 5-12, 2026

Trip Length: 8 days

Trip Cost: $1,875 USD plus airfare*

Join a well-established MissionGO missionary in providing medical care in Guatemala! Trip participants will travel to underserved rural communities with a Health Care and Ministry Team to provide free medical services, health education, and spiritual support to families who have limited access to care. Alongside our medical work, the team will also share the love of Christ through evangelism, prayer, and community outreach.

This trip is focused on strengthening families, encouraging local leaders, and building long-term relationships with the communities served. Volunteers will have the opportunity to experience cross-cultural ministry, work side by side with local health professionals, and be part of a team that uses medicine as a powerful tool to open hearts to the Gospel.

*Please note that prices do not include airfare transportation to country of service. Ticket prices fluctuate often due to fuel prices, demand, and dates. Flight prices to Central America generally range from $400 to $900 USD. Airplane tickets will be purchased a few months before each trip. MissionGO strives to find the best routes and rates available.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
