For many years, this Middle Eastern country has served as a refuge for persecuted groups of Christians & Muslims. Even her economic challenges have not closed her borders to those seeking safety. Yet now the residents, as well as thousands of refugees, are suffering fear, uncertainty, loss, and devastation as each day rockets and bombs bring destruction and grief. No area here offers a safe space—food is scarce and finding water and other commodities is challenging. Successive waves of Palestinian refugees has led to a stateless population living in 12 camps across the nation.

A mission team from Canada visited in 2023 and witnessed the joy and thankfulness of refugees as they received baskets of much needed food items. The need has expanded drastically in this time of war. Through the Church, we plan to distribute most urgent needs in the Name of Jesus.   

“Then the King will say to those on His right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.  For I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was thirsty, and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you welcomed me”.  Matt. 25:34-35
