In the heart of Costa Rica’s Orosi Valley—one of the most beautiful yet underserved regions of the country—God has planted a place of refuge, training, and hope. El Jardín Sagrado (The Sacred Garden), our ministry campus, stands as a living testimony to Christ’s words: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)

For many, Costa Rica is known as the most prosperous nation in Central America. Yet in the rural Orosi Valley and neighboring communities like Cachí, prosperity often feels distant. Indigenous families, migrant workers, and local residents struggle daily to meet basic needs. Churches are faithful but frequently lack trained pastors, biblical resources, and healthy spaces to gather, learn, and rest.

That is why El Jardín Sagrado exists.

This campus has become a beacon in the valley—a place where pastors receive biblical training, young people encounter Christ at youth camps, leaders are discipled, and vulnerable families find practical help and spiritual encouragement. Through retreats, pastoral development, youth outreach, and support for indigenous and marginalized neighbors, the light of Christ is shining brightly here.

But to continue this work—and to strengthen it for the years ahead—we need your help.

We are launching the Beacon in the Valley Campaign with a goal of $80,000. These funds will provide essential tools that allow ministry to flourish: (Click on a project to give a specific gift)

Every gift, no matter the size, strengthens the hands of those serving and brings hope to those who need it most. More importantly, we ask you to pray—pray for the pastors being equipped, the young people being discipled, the families being served, and the communities being reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Would you prayerfully consider giving as the Lord leads to help keep this light shining in the Orosi Valley?

Your generosity will echo far beyond this moment. It will equip leaders, encourage churches, and illuminate the lives of people who are hungry for the hope of Christ.
