Anil Kumar’s early childhood was shaped by family instability. After his parents divorced, his stepfather did not take responsibility for his care or well-being. His mother, facing difficult circumstances and limited resources, found herself unable to provide the stability and educational support her son needed.

Rather than allowing his future to remain uncertain, she made a courageous decision. After learning about our children’s home, she brought Anil into our care so he could receive education and protection.

Now in 4th grade, he is attending school consistently and making progress in his studies. He especially enjoys sports and participates enthusiastically in physical activities/games with other children. He is also active in Sunday school, where he joins lessons, songs, and discussions with eagerness.

With regular meals, school supplies, medical care, mentoring, and spiritual guidance, Anil now has the environment he needs to grow in confidence and discipline. What once felt uncertain is now stable. A mother’s difficult choice has opened the door to opportunity for her son.
