Ashirvadam (Ashir) & Miriam Mylaram

Send a Note Start a Campaign

Rev. M. N. Ashirvadam and his wife Miriam serve faithfully in Telangana, India, answering God’s call to bring the love of Jesus to vulnerable children and forgotten communities. With compassionate hearts and unwavering faith, they minister among Dalit and tribal families—many trapped in deep poverty with little access to education, healthcare, or hope.

In 1994, God led Rev. Ashirvadam to found Great Commission Ministries, and from that vision the Ashir Children’s Home was born—a safe, Christ-centered refuge for orphaned and at-risk children. For more than 30 years, this home has provided love, education, daily care, and discipleship. Over 300 children have grown up here, now living independent, Christ-honoring lives—a powerful testimony of what God can do through faithful partnership.

A "Yes" To the Lord Over 20 Years Ago Is Still Blessing So Many Today...

Today, 71 children still call Ashir home. Many come from villages where children are forced into labor just to survive. Through this ministry, they are given something rare and life-changing: the chance to learn, grow, and dream of a future beyond poverty.

One such story is Chandu, who arrived as a struggling third grader. With love and encouragement, he excelled academically, became the district’s top student in tenth grade, and is now completing his engineering degree. His life reflects the transformation that happens when a child is surrounded by care, opportunity, and Christ’s love.

The needs remain urgent. The ministry is trusting God to launch the Ashir Mission School, an English-medium primary school that will serve orphaned and low-income children—many who would otherwise never receive an education. At the same time, one of the children, 13-year-old Jonathan, is facing a serious medical crisis. His heart is functioning at only 25%, and he urgently needs treatment and prayer.

Rev. Ashirvadam and Miriam humbly invite you to stand with them.

How YOU can help:

  • Please pray for Jonathan’s healing, for God’s provision for the new school, and for strength to continue caring for the children entrusted to them.
  • Your financial support helps provide food, shelter, education, and the Gospel—meeting both immediate and eternal needs.

Together, we can bring hope, healing, and the love of Christ to children who need it most.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
