Kenya Trip - Summer 2026

Trip Location: Sego/Kerio Valley & Elgeyo-Marakwet County, Kenya

Trip Dates: July 25-August 8, 2026

Trip Length: 14 days

Trip Cost: $2,295 USD + Airfare

This mission trip will take place in the remote regions of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, specifically the Kerio Valley—an area known for high temperatures and rugged terrain. Trip participants will establish a medical outreach at the Hope Health Services Clinic (a project of Nesting for Hope International Inc., in partnership with MissionGO) to serve the marginalized Elgeyo community.

In addition to providing basic health care—particularly general medicine and support for elderly patients—we will focus on ministering through evangelism, church planting and youth engagement. Programs will center around children and youth who lack access to developmental opportunities, including an after-school program offering diverse indoor and outdoor activities. Volunteers in children’s ministry are encouraged to bring educational and recreational materials.

*Please note that prices do not include airfare transportation to country of service. Ticket prices fluctuate often due to fuel prices, demand, and dates. Flights to Africa typically range from $800-$1,800 USD. Airplane tickets will be purchased a few months before each trip. MissionGO strives to find the best routes and rates available.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
