For the last five months, I have been working on a medical outreach team in Southeast Asia. Our primary focus is to share the Gospel of Jesus with the tribal communities on our island. We do this through medical outreaches and relationship building. The tribal people groups here are extremely underserved and discriminated against. Our aim is to share with them the love, hope and freedom that Jesus purchased on the cross and to receive salvation. Another large part of our ministry here is discipling and sharing the Gospel with the youth. We have weekly Bible studies and discipleship time. I truly believe God has something extremely important for this next generation and their hunger and desire for Truth is inspiring. The lives of these people and their children are extremely important.

Even though I have only been serving here for a few months, I moved here with the intention to stay indefinitely. Since being here, I have found that having a vehicle would be a tremendous blessing in ministering effectively. We often take trips into the mountains or remote locations to serve our friends in the tribes. We go weekly into the mountains to provide medical care for our patients, often it is difficult to find transportation to get there. I’m also looking forward to having the capability of transporting students when needed for Bible studies.

I am currently fundraising for a 4-wheel drive vehicle, one that is capable of going to remote, hard to reach places. My current goal is $10,000, which would provide enough money to purchase a used 4x4 truck.

I ask that you pray about partnering with me in this way as I continue to serve the people here. May God be glorified in all things and may this vehicle truly be His and for His Kingdom.

Until the whole world hears.

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
