Í am currently a sophomore at a University in Florida, where I am studying Exercise Science on the pre-Physician Assistant track. My passion for medicine stems not only from my academic studies but also from a deep desire to serve others, both physically and spiritually, being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. I long to reflect the agape love He has shown me — a love that gives freely, expecting nothing in return. I believe that healthcare can be a beautiful avenue to share the love and compassion of Christ with those in need.

This summer, God has opened an incredible door for me to serve on a medical mission trip to Guatemala. From August 2nd to August 9th, I will be partnering with Dr. Tito and the ministry La Misión to provide care for underserved communities. Our team will offer general medical services, dental and eye care, and teach basic health education in local schools—all while sharing the hope, love, and salvation found in Jesus Christ.

Currently, I serve as a medical assistant at an under-resourced clinic here in Florida, where I have witnessed firsthand how meeting someone’s physical needs often opens the door to deeper conversations about faith, hope, and healing. My heart is to continue using medicine as a ministry, both now and in the future, and I am excited for the opportunity to serve internationally in Guatemala this summer.

The total cost of the trip is $1,379.00. I am trusting in God’s provision and would be so grateful if you would prayerfully consider partnering with me — whether through financial support or prayer — as I prepare to serve.

Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and prayers. I’m excited to see how God will work in and through this opportunity for His glory!

To God be the glory in all things!

With love and gratitude,
Valentina
