After 20 years of working in Gabon, I moved to Bunia, eastern DRC in February 2019. I serve as a Bible translation consultant, helping teams who are translating the Bible into their own local language to ensure that their translations are accurate, clear, and natural. This gives speakers of more languages access to God's precious Word in their heart language for the first time.

I also help to write a series of Bible commentaries/translation aids in French which are used across the francophone world to help mother-tongue translators make better first drafts of their translations.

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
